The Load for a house or a shop is calculated by adding the ratings ( Watt or Wattage ) of all electrical devices in home. Like if you have 2 bulbs with rating 60 W , and a fan with rating 75 W , and a AC with rating 1500 W . The total load of your house is = ( 60 x 2 ) + 75 + 1500 = 1695 Watt .
